Dermatianika – Aghi Apostoli

Just 2.6 km from Neapoli is Kambos, or Dermatianika, as the locals call it, next to the steep slope of Kokkinovrachos mountain, named for its red colour. Archaeological evidence shows that there was once a village here that served as a way station between Vies and Monemvasia. Stop at one of the village cafes before visiting the lovely beach at Neratziona (2.8km) or a walk to Kamari (1.3 km).

The population of Aghi Apostoli (1.5 km from Dermatianika and 4.9 km from Neapoli) has a population of about 600 permanent residents, several traditional cafes and tavernas. It is the seat of the largest agricultural cooperative for producers of the delicious olive oil of Vatika and its famous onions.
